December and January

Hi lovely people,

Almost the third of this month has already passed. About time for me to act like a decent concierge and propose a few things to do for December and January in Montreal.

Most important first : eating.

I’ve been eyeing the raw bar experience at Mama C, happening until January 4th. It comes from collaboration with maison ruinart. High risks of a good time.

I still haven’t been to Vino Disco. I’ve been curious about the retro vibes of the place. It seems like the ideal place for l’apéro.

I’m also intrigued by Capello Restaurant - an Italian with a view. It’s new. It’s fresh. It’s a great place to make out in secret.

Have you heard about Terrace Belvu? It’s Montreal’s only open air rooftop terrace that we can visit during winter. I’d love to share a drink there.

If you are addicted to learning like me, you might want to try the sushi making class at Umamia Mtl : learn, eat, and experiment for a 4h workshop. It’s also a bring your own wine, so we could get in trouble. I’ll offer 50% off this date until the end of January.

In terms of activities, I would not mind AT ALL to be brought to an hockey game or at the Arcades. As a foodie, I need to visit “On the menu - MONTREAL, a restaurant story” at the McCord museum. The exhibition celebrates Montreal's extraordinarily diverse and inventive food scene from the 1960s to today. I bet we will be starving after the visit!

I’ve been way too curious about Bain Ninkasi. Very close to by apartment (hint, hint) it’s opening on December 20th. It’s suppose to be an epicurean spa with hop care. What I understand is that it involves beer and relaxation. They also have an immersive sensorial experience? I don’t get it, but I’m extremely curious. I’ll offer 50% off if we go before the end of January.

I would die to get out of the city for a few days. If you are thinking about a chalet date for a weekend or an escapade down south, please do reach out. I think I’m ok company. I am dying from some cross country skiing. I’m also very much interested in some beach time in an extremely small bikini.

I’d also like to take a second to thank everyone I’ve met this year. I feel like I’ve made some incredible connections. I had fun. I traveled. I kissed. I loved. I can’t wait to do more of it. Happy new year babies!

kisses, bisous partout
