Salut, novembre
I must admit, writing about November doesn't exactly fill me with enthusiasm. Gray. Cold. Rainy. Those are the first words that come to mind when I think it. If you are going somewhere sunny this month, congratulation, I officially hate you just a little. Pure jealousy indeed.
What if I reframed my thoughts about this month a little by exploring what Montréal has to offer? What if we make it a date to remember? Que tu a Montréal tattouée sur le coeur or if you are passing by for work, all reasons are good to meet with a lovely independent escort in this wonderfully eclectic city.
Here are a few activities that, I think, that could bring warm and spice to our special date this month in Mtl :
RIDM (Nov 20 - Dec 1st) : The Montreal International Documentary Festival (RIDM) is one of North America’s leading documentary film festivals. Each year, the RIDM presents around a hundred Canadian and international documentaries.
Coffee shop date : Yes, let’s get cozy af around a warm cup of coffee. I will let you choose the spot as long as you hate Tim Hortons as much as I do.
Mtl à table (until Nov 17) : MTLàTABLE is a tasty opportunity for food lovers to explore many Montréal restaurants or revisit favourites. This year’s extended edition is an 18-day-long ode to gastronomy that includes over 150 participating Montréal restaurants spread across several of the city’s neighbourhoods. Each establishment will be offering a three- or four-course, set-price evening menu ($35, $50, $65 or $80), which will feature one or several Québec ingredients.
So yes, I think we could make this work in terms of date for this month? I am always eager to taste new restaurants and would not mind being taken to a good old spa date. The bones get cold with this Montreal humidity!
In the hope to be able to make your November a little brighter?
