Septembre de feu
Hi, Bonjour!
Have you been feeling the changes coming in the weather? Montréal in September feels like a cozy in between. The heat has softened, but the terrasses are still alive, serving the incredibly creative meals we are known for. It’s one of those rare moment when this place slows down just enough to let you savor it, without the crowds of tourists!
As an independent companion located in Montreal, I love to get to show my city to people traveling here from everywhere. Let me share a few ideas for our time together. It's just another way for us to connect, before or after being playful with each other in a... more intimate setting?.
I have an old fantasy. It involved a bed. A round one. And I learned it is actually possible? Le Germain hotel has one room with a round bed downtown Montreal. Imagine helping me cross this experience out of my bucket list. And maybe yours too?
Fan of horror cinema? CREATURES is an event taking place at Cinema du Parc from September 5th to November 2nd. From bloodthirsty zombies to more realistic threats, this program celebrates all the forms horror can take, on a journey where each screening pushes the boundaries of the nightmare a little further. I offer 50% off my rates for social time at the movies.
One of my favorite things to do in Montreal, maybe ever, is going the lantern festival at the botanical garden. It's fun, romantic and a great way to experience autumn in Montreal.
There's a new Arcade in town : FUNHUB. I wouldn't mind trying it. I will probably laugh loud and be bad.
TapTap Cocktails is offering a drink making class. I think that would be a fun thing to try. The pizza making class at Bevo also has caught my interest... I'm a nerd who loves new things.
I would love to take someone who's not familiar with Québécois cuisine to La Buvette du P’tit Dep for the tasting menu of the Quebec iconic food, from tourtière to smoked meat and local desserts. I think it would be a cool way to learn more about Québec. I've also been craving paella lately and I've heard amazing things about the lobster one from Ibericos. Would that be interesting to you? My attention has also been caught by Bazart, a cute Mediterranean place that use local and fresh produce. Talking about fresh, I *absolutely* need to try Pasta Pooks. Fresh pasta, good wines. That's enough to make me extremely happy. For the warmer days, I would be delighted to be taken to Terrasse Teranga. It is much more than a rooftop: it's an immersion in the flavors, colors and soul of West Africa. I can't see how I would not love this place. Interested in taking me out on a coffee date? I'd love to try Maison Sauvage.
Honestly, I could go on and on. Montreal is absolutely fantastic in fall. I really hope some of you get to visit for the first time, and that you'll trust me while in town. All the details to secure a booking can be found on my website.
Have a beautiful month!
Nora xoxo
